I love both writing and helping others learn to write effectively.

While earning a BA and MA in English, I took additional courses in creative writing, journalism, and editing. I have worked as an English composition instructor, as a professional writer and editor, and as an MCAT instructor, preparing students for the verbal and essay portions of the medical school admissions test. As a college essay tutor, I have been helping students accomplish their dreams for over 20 years. To further hone my skills for today’s competive admissions environment, I have also earned a certification as a college admissions counselor through UCSD. My goal is to provide affordable, personalized essay advice. I look forward to working with you.
